From the legendary Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, the first Pinot Noir Vineyard from the Santa Rita Hills. The 2011 is starting to mature nicely. Still with wonderful concentration of fruit and body on the palate. The nose is cool and reminds you of a summers day. There is still time to lay this one down, patience will be rewarded when the fruit set takes the backseat and secondary aromas start to manifest. A wine to drink before you die!
